Thing 5: Subscribing to Blogs

Wow! This really opens up a lot of things to me. There are so many blogs available for the things I am interested. I added two scrapbooking blogs. I love it!

I had some trouble and was not successful in adding the bloglines tab to my links toolbar. I will be sending a SOS out to our coordinators. But, I still really love this 23 Things project. So much to learn so little to time to do. But I will make the time.

Also, I learned how to SKYPE this week. Boy is that a great way to keep in touch. And its' FREE, FREE, FREE. Well, I am ready to learn other new things.

Boy, as I reflect on the power of WEB 2.0, I realize that it would be a great tool for senios to keep in the mainstream of life. It's one way of staying connected to the world. This is a great tool. I have found some interesting things on different blogs. I love the Richardson and Warlick Blogs. Just great.

  1. I had trouble adding the bloglines tab to my toolbar as well. When I first tried, it changed the language of my site to French. It took me about half and hour to figure out how to change it back. And I'm sorry, I couldn't tell you how I fixed it!

  3. I have another one to add to your list for blogs--Cognitive Coaching. You're a national trainer in that arena. When I looked around, I found this:

I wonder about your thoughts on this, and how you might use your blog to help others in this important area?
